đ The Summer Photobook Project
A simple 10-day mini-course to help you make something that lasts.
You probably took hundreds of photos this summer, and I know you want to revisit these memories in printed form, but making photobooks can seem like a daunting task, and it rarely ever happens.
How do I know?
As a mum of two, I also struggle with this task, and I'm going to use this "challenge" for my own summer memories. Yes, I need you to keep me accountable as well, so you'll be doing me a favour by joining.
I say "challenge" but this is not a productivity challenge. Itâs the accountability we need to finish one imperfect, yet, super meaningful book.
One email a day (for 10 days)
A WhatsApp community, if you want to share your progress and ask questions
No need for perfection. Just progress.
By the end of September: youâll have a printed photobook in your hands and can flick through those summer memories with your kids.
Itâs free. It starts September 15.

We start on Monday 15 September

Hi, Iâm Johanna!
For the last 10 years, Iâve been capturing familiesâ most special and everyday moments while also documenting the beautiful chaos of my own family life.
Within a few months of my daughterâs birth, I had thousands of photos of her, but barely any printed.
It overwhelmed me. I wanted her to have photobooks to flip through and see herself on our walls. More than that, I wanted her to see what her childhood was truly like: that we loved her when she was happy, quiet, mischievous, adventurous, or even having a tough day.
Over the next five years, I thought deeply about why I was taking photos and what moments truly mattered enough to document, keep, and print. I developed a simple workflow that ensures the right images get printed, without the pressure of trying to âcatch upâ on everything.
Now, I want to help you do the same and finally get those photos printed and displayed so you can treasure them every day.
